Located in New York City, PowerPhyl Media Solutions is a media agency with a focus on strategy, marketing, and optimization. I was tasked with rebranding the company’s identity and the design strategy behind their new website.

Experimenting with different combinations between rectangles, triangles, and circles, I landed on a combination that followed a 66° angle. When the shapes joined together, they formed a “P” for Powerphyl. The negative space between the shapes paid homage to New York City’s quadrangular street grid system. Along with the monogram, a logotype was developed to match the properties established from the brand.
Finding the right development strategy in a competitive media landscape.
Powerphyl’s existing website did not have much content at all to reference. Upon doing research on competitors like DMIpartners and Fearless Media, I analyzed what they accomplished in their website design and what could improve. As a result, I prioritized building content blocks that emphasized the new brand identity’s color palette, typography, and other graphic elements such as masking images within the logo.
