NYC Emergency Management is responsible for coordinating citywide emergency planning and response for all types and scales of emergencies in the New York City district. I handled the design strategy and typesetting for their updated report named NYC's Risk Landscape: A Guide to Hazard Mitigation.

A carefully designed icon set was implemented along with a color theme to emphasize headers, pull-quotes, body text, captions, and graphics within each designated chapter. Certain sections were designed in exempt to this system in order to allow certain spreads to shine through.
